Our Area

Better Edenvale’s area extends from Horwood Street to 7th Street, encompassing 7th Avenue, 8th Avenue, Van Riebeeck Avenue, 10th Avenue and Voortrekker Avenue. It also includes the Eastleigh CBD, encompassing Fountain Road, Plantation Road, Central Road, Edendale Road and Main Road.

Our History

Under the ECID (Edenvale City Improvement District) banner, we achieved significant improvements in Edenvale over the years. Following the decision to join the growing Better Neighbourhoods community improvement movement, Better Edenvale is building on this strong foundation. Along with Better Edenvale, the apolitical NPOs in the Better Neighbourhoods network include Better Bedfordview, Better Senderwood, Better Primrose, Better Fourways and Better Linksfield. Together, we are striving to achieve our shared vision to improve South Africa, one suburb at a time.
